Cristian Åsvik

Cristian Åsvik is a Swedish/Finnish actor from a town called Åkersberga, North of Stockholm – Sweden.

After trying his hand at multiple jobs Cristian finally plucked up the courage to pursue his dream of becoming an actor and in 2016 began his journey after being accepted into Bromma Folkhögskolas Community College Theatre Program. He then continued his education at Stockholms Elementära Theatre School where he worked under the esteemed Polish Director Tomaz Neumann before attending Prague Films School’s Acting For Film Program where he graduated in 2019.

Straight after graduation, Cristian worked with the Prague Shakespeare Company where he was cast in “Tartuffe” which played at the Divadlo Na Pradle Theatre.

Shortly after returning to Sweden Cristian made his Feature Film Debut in the Swedish Horror film “Reportage November” directed by Carl Sundström.

In 2022 Cristian completed a BA Top-Up program in Acting for the Screen at the prestigious Raindance Film School in London, where he was awarded a 2nd class honours degree. During his time at Raindance, he also completed his first short film, Try Hard, which he wrote and produced himself.

Cristian currently lives in Stockholm and is represented by his long-time friend and manager Xander Turian at Cuprite Entertainment Group.
